Haughton Crater, Devon Island, Canada

Haughton Crater is an impact crater located on Devon Island, Nunavut, Canada. Devon Island is the largest uninhabited island in the world. It lies less than 1000 miles from the North Pole. In this false-color image, water and sea-ice are blue, the barren land surrounding the crater is a greenish-yellow, and the crater itself is purplish-white.

White Sands National Monument is one of the natural wonders of the world. It is located in central New Mexico and is Earth's largest gypsum sand dune field. In this natural-color image, the white gypsum sands is bright white against the surrounding reddish-brown desert and gray mountains.

New Orleans, Louisiana, USA
